Sylvain Morilhat is a Wind-tunnel Research Engineer at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab since 2021, with a strong background in aerospace engineering. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at CEA, where the focus was on laminar/turbulent transition for hypersonic flows, and a PhD at ONERA-DMAE, where wall pressure fluctuations in turbulent boundary layers were modeled for vibro-acoustic applications. Additional roles include internships at CEA and ONERA, involving studies of laminar/turbulent transitions and unstable flows in combustion chambers, as well as simulation and optimization of flows in spatial valves at Techspace Aero. Sylvain Morilhat holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from ISAE-SUPAERO, specializing in astrophysics, finite element modeling, combustion, and computer simulation.
