Ryan Foster has four years of professional experience, beginning in 2016. That year, they worked as a Hardware Lab Technician Intern at Arista Networks, and as a Researcher in the Nanodevice Physics Lab at the University of Washington. In 2020, they were a Maker Lab Supervisor at Santa Clara University. Most recently, in 2021, they have been employed as a Mechanical Engineer and Robot Operator/Maintenance Technician at OnePointOne.

Ryan Foster attended the University of Washington from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Ryan then pursued a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Santa Clara University from 2019 to 2021.
