Gil Hackl has been working in the financial services industry since 2004. In that time, they have held a variety of roles. From 2004 to 2010, they were the Strategic Planning Manager at Banco Votorantim. From 2010 to 2016, they were the Products and Projects Manager at Banco BMG. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Consultant at BMG Money. In 2020, they became a Board Member at Lendico Brazil and Co-Founder at Plenti. Gil is currently the Operations and Products Manager at OneBlinc, where they are applying high-tech solutions, big data, artificial intelligence, and an omnichannel strategy to serve millions of people who don't have access to traditional lending.

Gil Hackl obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Universidade Estadual de Maringá between 2000 and 2005. Gil then attended Technische Universität Ilmenau from 2005 to 2006, but did not receive a degree. In 2014 and 2015, they received an MBA in Strategy, Finance, and Corporate Development from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. In 2015, they also obtained a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and User Innovation from MIT Sloan School of Management. In 2019, they obtained a Certificate in Digital Transformation Strategy from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Additionally, they have obtained a Certified Fintech Practitioner from The London Institute of Banking & Finance in 2021 and attended the CMO Academy 2016 at Columbia Business School Executive Education.
