Shane Hoare is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Ambassador for One Young World since October 2023. Shane has held various roles at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since July 2018, progressing from Graduate Engineer and Automation Engineer to BMS Lead Automation Engineer. In addition to engineering, Shane is a Level 2 Kayak River Skills Instructor with Canoeing Ireland and a Raft Guide with Rafting.ie. Previous experience includes working as a Store Assistant at Musgrave and a Manufacturing Systems/Engineering Intern at Alexion Pharmaceuticals in 2017. Shane holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechatronics from Dublin City University, obtained in 2018.
