Hugh Locke is an experienced leader in sustainability and environmental advocacy, currently serving as President of the Smallholder Farmers Alliance since January 2010. In addition, Hugh is a Board Member at One Tree Planted, Partner at Smallholder Data Services, and Chairman at VeriFi, all of which have been roles taken on in recent years. Prior to these positions, Hugh co-founded and served as President of Yele Haiti from 2005 to 2010 and was President at Locke Associates from 1999 to 2004. Hugh holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Manitoba and furthered education at the Architectural Association from 1977 to 1980.
