Breda Murphy is an experienced mental health and social care professional with a strong background in supporting individuals with diverse needs. Currently serving as a Mental Health Recovery Officer at One Housing since March 2019, Breda's role focuses on mental health recovery. In addition, Breda works as a Social Care Worker with TTM Healthcare Group, assisting adults with mild to severe intellectual disabilities. Previous positions include Recovery Coordinator at Apax Mental Health Residential Care and student social care practitioner roles at St. Hilda's Special School and Athlone Open Door Service, where Breda gained valuable experience in cognitive and social development for children and support for clients dealing with addiction. Breda holds a BA Honours in Social Care Practice and has obtained ASSIST and SAFE talk certificates from Technology University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus.
