Yuxi Lu is an Architectural Associate at Flad Architects since April 2022 and a volunteer Architectural Designer at One Community Global, where responsibilities include enhancing the design of a sustainable village city center through AutoCAD and SketchUp, and ensuring compliance with the California Building Code. Previously, Yuxi Lu contributed as a team member in the Illinois Solar Decathlon from 2019 to 2020, collaborating on BIM projects and enhancing construction drawings for a Net-Positive House. Yuxi Lu holds a Master of Architecture and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering: Construction Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a minor in Landscape Architecture from the same institution.
