David Kornfield has over four decades of experience in international missions and education. Currently serving as a missionary with OC International since 1981, David catalyzes national-level pastoring movements in collaboration with the National Evangelical Association and coordinates the World Evangelical Alliance's Pastoring of Pastors Task Force. Prior experience includes directing the Detroit Center at Ashland Theological Seminary from 1986 to 1988 and serving as the Latin American Director for World Relief under the National Association of Evangelicals from 1981 to 1985. David's academic background includes a Ph.D. in International and Comparative Education from the University of Chicago, as well as master's degrees in Education and Anthropology from Azusa Pacific University and the University of Chicago, respectively, and a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Wheaton College.
