Our Accounting Manager career is hybrid and requires an average of two days per week in our Cerritos Headquarters. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the closing process, including reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis, controls and the preparation of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Lead process improvements, and motivate stakeholders to embrace the changes required to close in an accurate, timely and reliable manner.
  • Assist in all technical accounting matters, including developing, maintaining and enforcing accounting policies and procedures in accordance with US GAAP and other authoritative literature.
  • Lead the analysis of accounting standards; and provide well-supported documentation of positions and conclusions. Recommend solutions to business partners and escalate roadblocks as needed.
  • Take a lead role in the company's annual audit, including the review of all documents submitted to the external auditors, helping to manage workflow, and providing ongoing communications with the audit team
  • Be a liaison between Accounting and other cross-functional teams, and contribute to other strategic projects and initiatives as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting  
  • Excellent accounting and operational skills with a strong understanding of GAAP and controls
  • Experienced people manager, who can make sound independent decisions and identify when to escalate matters.
  • A strong sense of urgency to drive high quality work products with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 3 years of public accounting experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred
