Vegard Børve Sørdal is a Senior Data Scientist at NEC OncoImmunity AS since September 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Machine Learning Researcher at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt - FFI from June 2020 to August 2023, and holding positions as a Teaching Assistant and a PhD candidate in Statistical Physics at the University of Oslo from August 2015 to September 2019. Vegard also worked as a Guest Researcher at the University of Barcelona from June 2016 to February 2017, a Summer Intern at NanoTecCenter Weiz Forschungsgesellschaft mbH in July 2013, and a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from January 2013 to June 2013, as well as a Research Assistant at The University of Tokyo from April 2012 to September 2012. Vegard holds a Ph.D. in Statistical Physics from the University of Oslo (2015-2019), an M.Sc. in Statistical Physics from the University of Oslo (2013-2015), and a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Bergen (2008-2011).
