Mark Chronister

EVP, Corporate Development at Onboard Partners

Mark Chronister has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mark is currently working as the EVP of Corporate Development at Onboard Partners, formerly The Kessler Group, a role they started in March 2020. Prior to this, Mark held the same position at The Kessler Group, where they utilized their strategic, operational, and leadership experience to develop key strategic relationships for the company.

Before joining The Kessler Group, Mark served as the Chief Customer Officer at Kobie Marketing from July 2017 to February 2020. In this role, they managed the entire client base, successfully growing and renewing brands such as Verizon, Best Buy, AMC Theaters, and Synchrony Bank. Mark also led business development efforts, signing brands like Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, and Williams-Sonoma, and oversaw the management of Kobie's call centers.

Prior to their time at Kobie Marketing, Mark held the position of SVP, Product and Marketing Executive (CMO) at First National Bank of Omaha from May 2010 to June 2017. In this role, they were responsible for the design and performance of all consumer and small business products for the bank.

Mark also has experience as the President of Cordjia Business Advisory Services, a boutique management and loyalty consultancy, where they originated and managed engagements with clients like Nationwide Insurance and Sony Entertainment.

Furthermore, Mark has served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Director at MXT Card Services, LLC, a start-up partnership-based credit card company. Mark was responsible for business development, partner management, corporate marketing, direct marketing, corporate development, investor relations, and capital raising efforts. During their tenure, they successfully signed 14 partnership deals and launched six direct marketing channels.

To start their career, Mark worked for Bank of America and MBNA America from August 1989 to July 2007. Mark held various roles of increasing responsibility, including EVP/CEO Mexico. In this position, they oversaw MBNA's co-branded portfolio and managed a $1.2 billion revenue program.

Mark Chronister attended Swarthmore College from 1983 to 1988, where they pursued a double major in Economics and Psychology. At the end of their studies, Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
