Jhankar Malakar is an experienced Analog Design Engineer with a career spanning over a decade in the semiconductor industry. At onsemi since June 2018, Jhankar specializes in designing Imagine Sensor Analog Front-End (AFE) components and working on Charge Sharing SAR ADC including comparators, sample and hold circuits, and switched-capacitor circuits. Prior to this role, Jhankar worked at Texas Instruments from September 2011 to June 2018, focusing on LVDS transceivers and I2C IO design, as well as developing IO libraries and conducting test-chip development. Jhankar's career began at IBM as a Design Verification Engineer for Processor Development, specifically for unit model functional verification of L3 cache in system Z processors. Jhankar holds a Master of Engineering in Microelectronics Systems from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from the Institute of Technology Burdwan.
