Matthias W. is an experienced professional in the field of innovation and research, currently serving as the Director of Innovation & Lab Services at Omya since August 2013. In this role, Matthias oversees the development of functional fillers and minerals for various industrial applications, with a special focus on polymer, construction, and agro sectors. Previous positions include R&D Senior Scientist at Omya, Post-Doctoral Researcher at BASF Schweiz AG, and Researcher at CNRS. Matthias holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and Catalysis from the University of Nottingham, as well as multiple engineering degrees in chemistry from various institutions in Strasbourg.
