Roman Preobrazhenskiy is a Data Engineer currently employed at Omniva since November 2022. Previously, Roman held a Data Engineer position at Yandex from March 2016 to February 2022, where responsibilities included leading a team focused on the data processing infrastructure for the Edadeal discounts aggregator app, developing and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines, managing distributed data storage, and supporting BI infrastructure. Roman's earlier experience as a Data Analyst at Yandex involved product and behavioral analytics for Yandex Maps, including KPI analysis and A/B testing. Roman began a career at the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET) as an Engineer, specializing in the computer simulation of microelectromechanical systems.
