Mike Boller has worked in a variety of roles since 1986. From 1986 to 1990, they were the Inhaber of Michael Boller und Partner GbR Michel Boller, a business specializing in the sale of promotional materials and gifts. Mike also worked as a Dozent for Mikro Partner Bildung from 1990 to 1995. During this time, they were also a Musiker and DJ for TT-Line and a Freiberuflicher Musiker for Cunard. In 1995, they became a Key-Account-Manager for Omnis Software, and in 1996 they were a Vertriebsspezialist for Adobe, introducing and selling the company's JetForm software in the DACH and Benelux regions. Mike also worked on print and form projects, as well as output management for SAP.

Mike Boller attended the Deutsche Angestellten Akademie Ahrensburg from 1988 to 1990, where they earned a Staatlich geprüfter Betriebswirt degree in Marketing. Mike then returned to the same school from 1997 to 1999, where they earned a Balance sheet accountant degree.
