Thomas Mikkelson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and data governance. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Global Data Governance and Privacy at Omnicom, Thomas oversees key programs in global data governance, privacy, and DevSecOps. Prior roles include Vice President and Data Compliance Officer at Omnicom Precision Marketing Group, where Thomas assisted in developing a multi-agency Data Governance Program, and Chief Technology Officer at MTS. As Chief Information Officer at Education Corporation of America, Thomas transformed the IT Department, significantly improved service quality, and enhanced analytics capabilities. With a strong foundation built during a lengthy tenure at Acxiom, Thomas also held various leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Bank One, and Global One. Thomas holds a BS in Applied Science from the United States Naval Academy and has attended the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business and The Wharton School.
