Dean Elson serves as a Board Member for OMNI Institute, a non-profit social science consultancy, since November 2019, contributing to positive social change through research and evaluation services. As Chief Knowledge Officer at Reading Partners since July 2011, Dean leads strategic planning and program development for a literacy organization serving thousands of students across nine states and Washington, DC. Prior experience includes roles at Thrive in 5 Boston, Jumpstart for Young Children, and the Massachusetts Department of Education, where Dean focused on data analysis, research, and program evaluation in early childhood education. Dean holds an A.B. in Political Science from Duke University and an MA in Child Development & Urban/Environmental Policy from Tufts University.
