Zoltán Somlyai has over 12 years of experience in the software engineering field. Zoltán is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Omixon since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Merck Group as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2020 to March 2021. Before joining Merck Group, Zoltán worked at ChemAxon as a Software Engineer from September 2016 to March 2020. Zoltán also has experience as a Software Engineer at EPAM Systems from May 2014 to September 2016, Baxter Technologies from June 2013 to May 2014, and Liferay from October 2012 to April 2013. Zoltán's career started as an Application Support Engineer at Nextent Informatics Co. in October 2009, where they worked until January 2012.

Zoltán Somlyai pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Eötvös Loránd University from the year 2006 to 2009. In May 2013, they obtained a certification titled "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera.
