John Bystroff is a seasoned professional in the field of space operations and systems engineering, currently serving as the Technical Lead at Omitron Inc. since December 2022, specializing in Space Domain Awareness. Prior experience includes roles as Senior System Engineer at L3Harris Technologies and extensive experience at Boeing, where John held positions such as Associate Technical Fellow and Lead Mission Engineer for the SBSS program. Earlier in the career, John worked as Mission Director at Motorola and served as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force for a decade. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Systems Architecture and Engineering from the University of Southern California, a Master’s in Space Operations from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Space Operations from the United States Air Force Academy.
