Aviva Aminova is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at Omidyar Network since October 2011, after progressing from Corporate Counsel to Senior Corporate Counsel and Associate General Counsel. At Omidyar Network, Aviva Aminova is responsible for structuring investments and grants, conducting due diligence, and providing corporate legal counsel on governance, investment compliance, and contract negotiation. Prior to this role, Aviva Aminova worked at Fenwick & West from October 2007 to September 2011 as an Associate, specializing in corporate law for technology start-up clients. Aviva Aminova began the legal career at the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley as a Law Clerk in 2005. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Stanford University and a JD from Yale Law School.
