Alex Lam currently serves as Projectleider Duurzaamheid at Omgevingsdienst IJmond since June 2023. Previously, Alex held the position of Themahouder Criminele Geldstromen at 'Samen Veilig'​ Noord-Holland from January 2023 to June 2023. Alex’s experience also includes serving as Projectleider for the Programma Aanpak Ondermijning NH from January 2020 to June 2023, focusing on comprehensive strategies against financial crime. From August 2006 to June 2023, Alex worked with Politie Noord-Holland Noord, holding roles as Operationeel Specialist and Hulpofficier van Justitie. Additionally, Alex served as an Adviseur / Expert at RIEC Noord-Holland from January 2018 to January 2020, specializing in the integral approach to undermining criminality. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in economics from Inholland University of Applied Sciences (2002-2005), a Bachelor's degree in policing from Politieacademie (2006-2009), and a certification as Hulpofficier van Justitie from Politieacademie (2011).
