Malcolm McDonald is a seasoned Senior Survey Engineer with extensive experience in the subsea surveying industry. Currently employed at Omega Subsea since August 2024, Malcolm has held similar positions at UTEC and Sulmara in early 2024 and from January 2022 to August 2024, respectively. Prior experience includes significant roles at Saipem and Fugro Survey Ltd, as well as freelance surveying work for Nautech Services Ltd and GOSS Consultants from February 2007 to February 2011, where notable projects included multibeam surveys in Kazakhstan and cable route surveys in Libya. Malcolm's earlier career includes a position as a Senior Engineer at OHM Ltd, focusing on global electromagnetic surveys. Educational qualifications include a Higher National Certificate in Mechatronics from James Watt College Greenock.
