Sharif Al Farsi currently serves as Chief of Staff and Head of Business Management at Oman Investment Bank since October 2023, while also holding the position of Chairperson of the Oman-UK Alumni Board under the British Council since January 2020. Prior to these roles, Sharif was Head of the Project Management Office and Business Management at Alizz Islamic Bank from February 2014 to October 2023, where responsibilities included business planning and risk management across various banking sectors. Sharif's extensive experience at HSBC from 2004 to 2014 involved multiple leadership roles, including Assistant General Manager, overseeing operations and leading high-profile programmes post-merger. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Business from Strathclyde Business School and multiple management diplomas from Edxcel UK Institute and the University of Technology and Applied Sciences.
