Marta Jakowluk is an accomplished Chief People Officer with extensive experience in human resources and internal communication across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief People Officer for OLX Group since August 2024, Marta previously held the same title at Leroy Merlin from October 2022 to August 2024, where responsibilities included managing a HR team of 160 and overseeing a workforce of 12,500 employees. Marta also served as Chief People Officer at UPC Polska from November 2016 to October 2022. Earlier in career, Marta held multiple senior roles at Unilever from May 2006 to November 2016, including HR Director for Poland and the Baltics, leading leadership development initiatives across Central and Eastern Europe. Marta's career began at Ahold as Supervisor of the merchandising team and included an internship in HR at Agros Nova. Academic credentials include a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Warsaw, obtained in 2004.
