Ricardo Leal is an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in software development and management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at OLX Brasil since May 2020, Ricardo has previously held multiple roles including Senior Engineering Manager and Engineering Manager. Prior to OLX Brasil, Ricardo spent over a decade at Cortex Intelligence, where responsibilities included Head Of Engineering/CTO and Sr. Software Development Manager, focusing on SaaS and on-premises models as well as leading the development of advanced data analytics solutions. Additional experience includes IT Consultant at Avantare Consultoria Interativa, Researcher at Software Engineering Laboratory (LES), and various software development roles at Enterprise Broker, Alfalink Internet Service Provider, DSC Tecnologia, and Choice Technologies S.A. Ricardo holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, both from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
