Sonia Macis has extensive experience in the travel industry, starting their career in 1997 as a Customer Services Consultant at The Magic Travel Group. Sonia then worked at Golden Joy Holidays as a Deputy Customer Service Manager. In 2001, they joined CV Villas, where they held various roles, including Pre-departure Executive/Travel Expert, Head of Pre-Departure Services, Operations Manager, and Sales Manager. In 2018, they became the Customer Experience Manager at Edge Retreats. Sonia then worked at Uvet UK as Sardatur Holidays before joining Oliver's Travels as a Sales Manager and later transitioning to the role of Head Of Sales.

Sonia Macis attended Liceo Linguistico Carta-Meloni from 1992-1997, focusing on Foreign Languages and Literatures. In 1996-1997, they also took a Tourism and Travel Course at Lyceum S. Satta Oristano. From 2000-2000, they studied Iata Airfares and Ticketing - level 1 (99%) at Westminster College London. Finally, in 2001-2003, they completed a Galileo Professional course, specializing in Galileo Document Production (ATB) and Galileo Focal point at Chameleon Training Consulting.
