Samanta Briceño has a diverse background in the advertising and marketing industry. Samanta began their career as an Account Services Intern at Play Comunicacion Creativa in 2010, where they conducted research on social media and digital marketing trends. Samanta then worked as a Brand Ambassador - Experiential Marketing for Nasco Staffing Solutions from 2014 to 2016, promoting various brands such as Google Music and Coca Cola.
In 2014, Samanta gained experience as a Digital Account Intern at Noise Digital, where their responsibilities included creating reports, marketing plans, and conducting research on social media and digital marketing trends. Samanta also worked as an Account Executive at Volumen Publicidad Criolla from 2010 to 2013, where they coordinated client projects, executed marketing strategies, and was involved in a visual merchandising project.
From 2008 to 2010, Samanta served as a Creative Director and Communications Coordinator at OMC Television, where they liaised with clients, directed and produced TV commercials, and executed creative concepts. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Coordinator at Anomaly from 2015 to 2017, managing accounts for brands such as Hershey's and Twizzlers.
Samanta's more recent roles include being an Account Executive at BBDO Toronto from 2017 to 2019, where they handled accounts for Mercedes-Benz, Visa, and Bayer. Samanta then joined SID LEE as an Account Executive from 2019 to 2021, and later transitioned to Art & Science as an Account Manager in 2021.
Currently, Samanta works as an Account Manager at OLIVER Agency, starting in 2022.
Samanta Briceño completed their high school education at Arzobispo Silva from 2000 to 2005, with a major in Sciences. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising at Instituto Universitario de Tecnologia Antonio Jose de Sucre, graduating in 2008. From 2009 to 2011, Samanta continued their studies at the same institution, majoring in Business Marketing. Later, in 2013 and 2014, they attended Centennial College to further their education in Advertising Account Management.
