Jurie Strydom currently serves as the Independent Non-executive Director at Old Mutual Limited and the Chairperson of the Board for both Common Good and FSPHub. With extensive experience in the financial services sector, Jurie held prominent positions such as Chief Executive Officer of Sanlam Life and Savings and Chief Executive of Regent Insurance. Jurie also held various senior roles within Sanlam, including Chief Executive for Sanlam Personal Finance and Joint Deputy Chief Executive. Jurie's career began with an investment internship at Bacon & Woodrow Partnerships Limited. Jurie holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is a CFA Charterholder, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in London. Educational qualifications also include a Bachelor's Degree in Business Science (Actuarial Science) from the University of Cape Town.
