Denise C. McKinney, Ph.D., RDH, serves as an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director at Old Dominion University since July 2012, with previous roles that include Assistant Professor, Director of Clinical Affairs, Lecturer, and Director of the Entry-level Dental Hygiene Program. Prior to this, Denise held the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor at Thomas Nelson Community College from May 2011 to May 2012. Denise's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Services Research, a Master of Science in Dental Hygiene (Education and Research), and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Dental Hygiene/Hygienist and Psychology, all from Old Dominion University, complemented by a Certificate in Global Health.
