Lily Wong is a Staff Scientist at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation since February 2019, focusing on the role of Caveolin1 in regulating limbal corneal stem cells. Prior to this, Lily served as an Assistant Professor of Research at OUHSC from October 2003 to January 2019, where extensive research was conducted on developing nanoceria as an inorganic antioxidant for ophthalmic therapeutics to treat blinding retinal diseases. Lily's earlier experience includes a role as a Research Instructor, where management of an imaging core facility and training on imaging equipment were key responsibilities. Lily earned a Ph.D. in Developmental Genetics from the University of Virginia (1987-1994) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hon I) in Biology from Queen's University (1983-1987).
