Marcus Sams, NCIDQ, serves as Partner and Principal Designer at Studio Merge since February 2019 and has been an Adjunct Professor at Oklahoma Christian University since August 2021. Previously, Marcus held the position of President for the American Society of Interior Designers from October 2018 to October 2019 and worked as an Interior Designer for Neely Design and FSB Architects + Engineers. Experience includes the development of working drawings, collaboration on contract furniture plans, project management, selection of finishes for residential and commercial projects, and on-site coordination for various design installations. Earlier roles include Visual Stylist at J.Crew, Marketing Associate at Sonic Drive-In, Private Events Coordinator for the Oklahoma City Boathouse Foundation, and President of Student Activities at Oklahoma City University. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications - Advertising from Oklahoma City University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the University of Central Oklahoma.
