Okanagan College is a public post-secondary institution offering degrees, diplomas and certificates in a range of program areas, including business, trades, university transfer, developmental, and English as a Second Language. It offers a host of vocational certificates and programs. Okanagan College has strong linkages with its communities and with employment opportunities. Programs are designed with the advice of industry so students are prepared with the skills required in the local and global market place. Cooperative education programs and work/study programs are available to assist students gain work experience before graduation. Many of the College's programs are available through Distance Education. Okanagan College also designs and delivers custom training projects for the specialized needs of Canadian and international companies. As a public institution under charter from the government of British Columbia, and with the recognition of many national and international accreditation bodies, Okanagan Colleges offers more than 130 programs including: · Business Administration, with specialties in accounting, management, financial services, marketing, or hospitality management · Health Sciences, including Nursing, Social Work, and Dental Assisting · Engineering Technologies, including Electronic, Civil, Mechanical and Water · Computer Information Systems · Arts · Science Okanagan College welcomes international students and provides extensive support services to assist those from other countries to adjust to living and studying in Canada. Each year more than 500 students visit the College on study tours. We organize study and recreational opportunities for groups of young people and adults from many countries, and arrange for them to experience Canadian life and culture through living with local families. Okanagan College is located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of south central British Columbia, 350 kilometres east of Vancouver and 120 kilometres north of the U.S.A. border. It is an hour's flight from Vancouver, Calgary and Seattle. It is known for its friendly, safe environment, mild climate, spectacular mountain scenery and boasts a reputation as the location of Canada's foremost fruit growing, and wine-making industry.

The Education and Instruction team at Okanagan College is responsible for delivering high-quality academic and vocational education across diverse disciplines, including business, health sciences, engineering, and the arts.
