Kerry Hughes is the President and Founder of Ethnopharm, a consulting firm focused on Product & Market Development and Ethnobotany Services for the Natural Products Industry since June 1994. Kerry holds a Master of Science in Agriculture with an emphasis on Soil Science and Ethnobotany and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Additional roles include serving on the Board of Directors for Berkeley Herbal Center and San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden, being a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Amare Global, and acting as a Technical Field Editor for Prepared Foods/Nutrasolutions Magazine. Kerry also has experience in market analysis with Health Care Without Harm and in pharmaceutical research at Shaman Pharmaceuticals, alongside a tenure as IMO-US Director with The Institute for Marketecology. Furthermore, ongoing education includes studies at The Institute for Functional Medicine and certification as a Clinical Herbalist from Berkeley Herbal Center.
