Jennifer Kirksey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jennifer most recently served as the Senior Director of Academic Marketing Strategy at Ohio University, where they provided strategic leadership and brand alignment for the institution, supervised a team of academic marketing communication managers, and acted as a senior-level marketing consultant. Prior to this, Jennifer held the position of Chief of Staff at Ohio University and served as a Strategic Communication Advisor and Developer. Jennifer also worked as an Assistant to the President at the university. Earlier in their career, Jennifer worked as a Media Specialist, where they handled media relations, managed projects, and developed strategic communication and marketing plans. Before joining Ohio University, Jennifer worked as an Account Executive at Morgen-Walke Associates, where they managed accounts for a range of clients. Jennifer also held the position of Account Executive at Edward Howard & Co., where they strategized responses to issues related to the vinyl industry and produced collateral materials to support the industry's position on key issues.
Jennifer Kirksey earned their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Organizational Communication from Ohio University, completing their studies from 2014 to 2016.
