Wendy Shear, CRIS, is an experienced commercial underwriter currently serving as a Commercial Field Underwriter at Ohio Mutual Insurance Group since October 2011. In this role, Wendy is responsible for the profitable writing and pricing of new commercial lines business submitted by agency force in Western Ohio and provides training to agencies on the company's rating system and products. Wendy's prior experience includes a long tenure at State Auto Insurance from January 1993 to September 2011, where responsibilities ranged from business insurance underwriting in collaboration with outside sales to assisting personal lines underwriters with processing applications and change requests. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Franklin University, earned between 1989 and 1993.
