Mike McGuire currently serves as Senior Deputy Legal Counsel and Policy Advisor for the Ohio House of Representatives, a position held since January 2023. Previously, Mike worked as an Associate Attorney at Kayne Law Group from October 2020 to January 2023, focusing on commercial real estate law. Mike earned a Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2020, where key achievements included receiving the John P. Wingard Administrative Law Scholarship and founding the Saint Thomas More Society. Earlier experience includes directorial roles at Renew Ohio and advisory positions within the Ohio House of Representatives, contributing to legislative matters related to environmental and agricultural policies. Mike has also managed successful political campaigns and held various leadership positions during academic tenure at The University of Akron, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication.
