Peter Schmidt is an experienced quantitative researcher currently at Qube Research & Technologies since May 2022, focusing on alpha generation and portfolio optimization. Previous roles include quantitative researcher positions at IKOS CIF Limited, where Peter researched and implemented alpha-generating strategies using statistical methods and machine learning while optimizing portfolios, and as a junior quantitative researcher and PhD researcher at ICFO, where Peter's research centered on the interaction of light with few-atom thick materials.
