Pascal Kobel is a Project Manager for Quantum Technologies at OHB SE since March 2022, leading EU/ESA studies on Quantum Key Distribution networks and managing various quantum projects, including Quantum Random Number Generation and photonic integrated circuit development. Prior to this role, Pascal served as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn from 2017 to March 2022, overseeing the experimental system for quantum networks with memory qubits, with a focus on trapped ions and quantum repeaters. Pascal also has experience as a founder of Keysenger, developing and managing a dedicated app from September 2015 to June 2020, and held various roles in academic and service settings, including work as a student assistant and a postal deliverer. Pascal holds a PhD in Quantum Communication and Quantum Networks with Trapped Ions, a Master of Science in Physics, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, all from the University of Bonn.
