Mirte van den Boom is a data scientist with extensive experience in data analytics and modeling across various industries. Currently employed at ofi as a Data Scientist since January 2024, previous roles include Associate Data Scientist at Metyis, where Mirte managed a small team, developed a demand forecasting tool for the fruit and vegetable sector, and created a customer profitability dashboard for a global food ingredients supplier. Prior experience includes positions at Objective Platform, where efforts focused on marketing measurement software and statistical modeling for clients in e-commerce and telecommunications, and a consultancy role at Research Project Maastricht, providing strategic analysis for international businesses. Mirte holds a Master's degree in Econometrics: Marketing Data Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics & Operations Research from Maastricht University, along with international educational experiences in China and a background in economics and political sciences.
