Steve A. currently serves as Principal Financial Advisor in Financial Supervision and Head of Strategic Financial Planning at Ofgem since December 2019, overseeing the Investor Relations team and managing Regulatory Finance Interns. Steve's previous roles at Ofgem include Principal Financial Advisor for Price Control Operations, Senior Regulatory Finance Manager, Regulatory Finance Manager, and Regulatory Finance Analyst, with a focus on RIIO-ED1 and RIIO-ED2 frameworks and cost of capital analysis. Prior to Ofgem, Steve held various positions at Rabobank, The Dai Ichi Kangyo Bank Group, Deutsche Bank, Security Pacific Eurofinance, UFB Asset Finance, and Barclays. Academic credentials include a BSc(Econ) in Financial Economics, a Master’s degree in Financial Risk Management from Birkbeck, University of London, and a postgraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
