Rowena Tapas Lopez possesses extensive experience in peace and reconciliation initiatives, currently serving as a Director at the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) since April 2011, with prior roles including Acting Director for Policy and Strategy Management, and multiple positions as a Peace Program Officer. Prior to OPAPRU, Rowena Tapas Lopez worked as a Research Assistant at Market Readers Inc. from October 2007 to December 2010. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Public Management with a focus on Public Policy and Program Administration from the University of the Philippines Open University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Research from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
