Amanda Bishop currently serves as a Deputy Public Defender at the Colorado State Public Defender since November 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Barista Trainer at Starbucks, Legal Extern at the Boulder Public Defenders Office, and Student Attorney for the Criminal Defense Clinic at the University of Colorado School of Law, where Amanda developed expertise in criminal defense. Additional internships at various law firms and involvement with the Korey Wise Innocence Project further enhanced Amanda's legal research and advocacy skills. Amanda holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Colorado Law School and a degree in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from Michigan State University.
