Melissa Rosenthal is currently serving as a Deputy District Attorney in Carson City, Nevada, since February 2023. Prior to this role, Melissa held positions as a Deputy Alternate Public Defender in Washoe County from August 2019 to March 2023, and as an Associate Attorney at Work Law from January 2019 to August 2019. Additionally, experience includes serving as a Child Advocate Attorney at Washoe Legal Services, and as an Associate Attorney at both Laxalt & Nomura Ltd. and Echeverria Law Office. Earlier roles included legal internships and clerkships with various organizations, including the Federal Public Defender and the Clark County Public Defender's Office. Melissa holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the William S. Boyd School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
