Brickwood Galuteria serves as a Trustee for the Office of Hawaiian Affairs since November 2022. Prior to this role, Brickwood Galuteria was a State Senator for District 12 in Hawaii from November 2008 to November 2018, representing Waikiki, Ala Moana, Kaka'ako, McCully, and Moili'ili. Brickwood Galuteria also held the position of Party Chair for the Democratic Party of Hawaii from May 2004 to May 2006 and worked as an On-Air personality at Cox Broadcasting from 1980 to 2006. Educational achievements include attendance at Kamehameha Schools, Harvard Kennedy School, and Pacific University.
