Ming Ng is a seasoned data professional currently serving as the Head of Data at Offensive Security since April 2021 and an Organizer for BSidesSF since February 2021. Prior to these roles, Ming worked as a Principal Data Scientist at HackerOne from May 2017 to April 2021, leading an analytic team focused on customer growth and marketplace engagement. Additional experience includes positions as Principal Data Scientist at LinkedIn and lynda.com, emphasizing data analytics from May 2015 to May 2017 and May 2010 to May 2015, respectively. Ming began a research role at UC Santa Barbara's Marine Science Institute between 2008 and 2010 and worked as a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems from 1998 to 2006. Ming holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of New York at Stony Brook, a Master of Environmental Science and Management from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stony Brook University.
