James Key has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. James began their career in 2010 as a Researcher at Information is Beautiful and later worked as a Business Researcher at Sunday Times Fast Track. In 2011, they worked as a Digital Marketing Assistant at Edson Evers and as a Junior Consultant at DotEcon Ltd. In 2012, they joined MTM London as a Business Analyst and later became a Consultant. James then worked at DG Cities as the Head of Special Projects on secondment from 2020 to 2021. James currently holds the position of Strategy and Policy Principal at Ofcom since May 2019. Additionally, they serve as a Non-Executive Director at Democracy Club starting from June 2022.
James Key attended Adam's Grammar School from 1999 to 2006. James then went on to obtain a BA degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Jesus College Oxford from 2006 to 2010.
