Mark Mawhinney, CPA, CMA, ICD.D, currently serves as a Portfolio Manager at Odlum Brown Limited since July 2015, with prior roles as Associate Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor. Previously, Mark held the position of Principal at RHMM Investments Corp. from 2011 to 2015, where responsibilities included sourcing and overseeing due diligence on private company investments and managing a private investment portfolio. As a Project Manager for entrepreneurship@UBC from 2009 to 2011, contributions were made to establish the entrepreneurship@UBC Fund, focusing on investments in student-founded businesses. Mark also gained experience in corporate development at Armstrong Group - Rocky Mountaineer, collaborating with the founder and CEO on strategic projects and evaluating business opportunities in the US market from 2007 to 2009. Mark's educational background includes obtaining an ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors and a BA in Economics from The University of British Columbia, among other credentials in accounting and investment management from recognized institutions.
