Youcef Kacer has a diverse range of work experience in machine learning and computer vision. Youcef is currently employed as the Machine Learning Lead at Odigo since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at BNP Paribas Cardif from 2017, where they served as the Machine Learning & Computer Vision Lead. In this role, they were responsible for developing a cloud-hosted Rest API for document information extraction and leading a team of data scientists. Before that, they worked at Smiths Detection from 2012 to 2017 as a Machine Learning & Computer Vision Engineer, specializing in threat detection in X-ray images. Youcef also has experience at Thales, where they worked as a Machine Learning & Computer Vision Engineer from 2011 to 2012, developing functions for vehicle analysis and control flow at frontiers.
