Jean-Denis Garo

Jean-Denis Garo has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jean-Denis began their career in 1995 as a Sales Engineer at CTSO, Intégrateur Matra Communication. Following this, they worked at DISCOFONE ADEPT as a Direct Touch. From 1999 to 2001, Jean-Denis worked at NORTEL as a Contact Center Consultant & Sales Engineering.

In 2001, they joined EADS as the Head of Marketing Solutions for EADS Telecom, leading two teams in channel marketing and marketing solutions. During this time, they primarily focused on France and other European countries. From 2001 to 2005, they were a Lecturer and Speaker at Télécom ParisTech (ex INT) and contributed to the institute's specialized teaching program.

Jean-Denis then joined Aastra France in 2005 as the Director of Communication & Marketing Support. Jean-Denis managed four teams and was responsible for PR, content, video, and social media activities. Jean-Denis also established a technology consultant-analyst program. From 2009 to 2014, they worked at Aastra (Global Marketing Group) as the Global Coordinator of Creative and Identity Guidelines, leading various global structuring projects.

From 2014 to 2021, Jean-Denis held different roles at Mitel, including Director of Marketing Southern Europe & North Africa and International Integrated Marketing Director. Jean-Denis managed field marketing teams, budgets, and channel marketing activities. Jean-Denis also led the production of content and digital assets on topics such as digital workplace, remote working, contact center, and cloud adoption.

In 2021, they joined Golem.ai as the Head of Marketing, where they structured and managed the marketing and communication team and implemented an inbound marketing strategy. Finally, in 2022, Jean-Denis became the Vice President of Product Marketing at Odigo, where they are responsible for defining the product and services, conducting market studies, and analyzing key performance indicators.

Jean-Denis Garo has a diverse education history. In 1991, they attended Université de Bordeaux, where they earned a DUE degree in the College of Law (IS & Enterprise) in 1995. In 1996, they studied Marketing at ICSV. In 1999, they pursued a Master's degree in Science Technology & Society at Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers. Moving forward to 2012, they attended HEC Paris and focused on measuring and optimizing marketing performance. In 2013, they furthered their studies at HEC Paris, specializing in digital marketing as well as creativity and innovation in marketing. In 2014, they attended CELSA Paris-Sorbonne. Finally, in 2015, they participated in the Story Seekers Workshop.
