Jim Seaton is an experienced drilling professional currently serving as an Assistant Derrickman/Roughneck at Odfjell Drilling since January 2018, working on the Deepsea Aberdeen Semi-Submersible for BP in the Schiehallion field. Previously, Jim held various roles in the offshore drilling industry, including Roustabout at GLOBAL RESOURCES GROUP, Derrickman with Paragon Offshore, and Derrickman with Archer - the well company. Earlier experience includes positions at Ensco plc, where Jim progressed from Roustabout to Derrickman over five years. Additionally, Jim worked as a Heating Air Conditioning Technician at HEAT ORKNEY LIMITED. Jim holds an HNC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lauder College and completed secondary education at Queen Anne High School.
